Members of the American Board of Preventive Medicine will be on hand to discuss specific situations of individual attendees regarding the rules for acceptance as a candidate to sit for the initial certification examination, as well as the four parts required for recertification under Maintenance of Certification: (1) Professionalism; (2) Lifelong Learning; (3) Cognitive Examination; and (4) Practice Performance. The MOC cognitive examination is being proctored during the conference and Life-long Learning credits are available as well. ABPM materials including a slide presentation, newsletter, content outline, and Q & A sheets will be available. Extensive Q & A with attendees has been a hallmark of this presentation.
